Traffic Counting On Municipal Roads

PennDOT will be contracting with National Data and Surveying Services, Inc., a vendor on the Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Traffic Engineering Data Count Services Contract, to collect traffic data on municipally owned roads. Weatherly Borough will be included in this data count. The data collection is used to make decisions on safety, design, and operation of roadways along with assessing highway system performance and apportioning Federal-aid highway funds.

Local Traffic Counts will be conducted on the following roads in Weatherly:

•  CARBON STREET BETWEEN FIFTH STREET AND THIRD STREET  

• MAPLE STREET BETWEEN SR 4010 STATE ROUTE AND FAIRVIEW STREET

• FELL STREET BETWEEN DEADEND TC AND FOURTH STREET

• JEFFERSON STREET BETWEEN HIGH STREET AND SR 4008 STATE ROUTE

• RACE STREET BETWEEN SR 4006 STATE ROUTE AND SR 4006 STATE ROUTE

• NORMAN STREET BETWEEN GRACE STREET AND LOUISE STREET • FAIRVIEW STREET BETWEEN DEADEND AND MAPLE STREET
