TRAFFIC COUNTING ON MUNICIPAL ROADS

Starting March 2, 2026 – November 19, 2026

PennDOT will be contracting with National Data and Surveying Services, Inc., a vendor on the Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Traffic Engineering Data Count Services Contract, to collect traffic data on municipally owned roads. Weatherly Borough will be included in this data count. The data collection is used to make decisions on safety, design, and operation of roadways along with assessing highway system performance and apportioning Federal-aid highway funds. Traffic counts are selected using a series of automated processes to determine the locations within each District.
Local Traffic Counts will be conducted on the following roads in Weatherly:

  • Dunnigan Lane between High Street and Monroe
  • Kline Street between SR 4010 and Doney Run
  • Third Street between Carbon Street and Packer Street
  • Younker Avenue between SR 4006 and Rebar Street
