Dumpster Permit Application
Any person intending to place a dumpster, POD, or similar device on any public street or alley within the Borough is required to apply for and obtain a permit. A completed application returned to the Weatherly Police Department AND a Permit must be issued before a dumpster or similar device may be placed on a public street or alley. In addition, the application shall be accompanied by a certificate of insurance, in a form approved by the Borough Manager. Once an application is received, the Weatherly Police Department shall conduct an assessment of the application. In the interest of traffic and pedestrian safety, the police department may approve, approve with modifications or deny the application.
Dumpster permit applications are available at the Weatherly Borough office and they can be mailed or emailed. There is a $10.00 fee for a dumpster application payable to Weatherly Borough.
Handicap Parking Space Application
Any person requesting an on-street handicapped parking space within the Borough of Weatherly shall make application to the Borough Manager on the appropriate form provided by the Borough. Any person who proposes to maintain eligibility for existing handicapped parking spaces annually shall submit a renewal application to the Borough Manager.
A fee of $5.00 is due and payable at the time of the notification of approval of the handicapped- parking request and at the renewal of one. No fee shall be required of a Disabled American Veteran.
Review of applications.
The Borough Manager shall review all applications submitted and shall approve or reject all applications utilizing the criteria set forth in the Borough Ordinance. The Borough Manager shall review all handicapped parking spaces or areas at least once annually to determine whether or not the individuals so requesting the handicapped parking space or area continues to be eligible under the criteria hereinafter set forth.
