REMOVAL OF VEGETATION FROM THE HAZLE CREEK

SPECIFICATIONS OF WORK

Bids are due by October 18, 2024

ARTICLE 1- WORK
The contractor will cut all vegetation and trees to ground level and will not uproot, dig out or otherwise disturb the soil in and along the creek bed. The area to be cut is from the PennDOT bridge (East Main Street) to the south side of the brick building located along the stream bed approximately 1,100 feet from the bridge. Both sides of the creek will be cut. All cut material must be removed from the site and the area will be raked clean of all leaves, wood, and debris from cutting and or chipping of material.

ARTICLE 2- CONTRACT TIMES
The work will be substantially completed in 30 days and totally complete after 45 days from the start date (agreed upon by the Owner and the Contractor). Consideration for bad weather conditions will be determined mutually by OWNER and CONTRACTOR

ARTICLE 3 – INSURANCE
The CONTRACTOR will provide the OWNER with a current Certificate of Insurance having $1,000,000 of liability coverage as well as Workman’s Compensation
